And price is no object!

Hey folks. Turn the TV's in the gym off after you finish using them. It's routine for people to turn them on and just walk away when they're finished exercising. This is neither eco-friendly, nor economical...or don't you care?

  1. Same with the pub room; ESPN was thunderous at 6:30am this morning.

  3. No doubt. I've made that post a couple of times. What makes anyone think that the next user of the equipment wants to deal with their personal body shame?

It cracks me up to see some of the people in there grunting and groaning and making like Schwarzenegger and they don't know the first thing about gym etiquette. ???

Wipe the damn machine down after you use it fool!

  4. The fact that they have wipes in the gym makes it even easier to wipe it down too.

There are a lot of rude tenants in the building, I've notice this not only in the gym, but also in the garage, lobby and elevator.

Would it hurt you to smile and say hello sometime??!!?

  5. Good point, TJ.

On an aside, does anyone know where we can find the pump for the green and red balls?

  6. You've noticed that huh? ;)

I have often thought the same thing. Rather than rude though, maybe they're just in their own world or preoccupied somehow, or maybe just shy. Who knows?

Still, lots of folks do the old "Better check my phone NOW" dodge to avoid others. Sad.

  7. TJ, agreed. Not everyone makes it their priority to please others by saying hello. Preoccupied is a better presumption over rude.

  8. Agreed on the wipe-down issue. Anyone that has ever wrestled knows that you can get ringworm and other fungal issues from using unclean workout equipment. Just wipe it off. On a related note, would it be possible to get the TV/Audio controls fixed on the EFX's and treadmills. The headphone inputs are worn out on almost all of the machines. And even more annoying, the TV's were not switched over to digital when Comcast went digital, so only a few channels come in. It was much better when the machines had basic cable. It's nice to watch MTV, History Channel, or MSNBC/FOX News when working out. It cannot be expensive to swith them over.

  9. Agreed. No one wants anyones ass pimple puss to seep onto the seats and benches. Please do wipe up after yourselves, you dirty little children.
