Pay your rent online!

You can make a one-time payment, or schedule a reoccurring monthly payment using a direct debit against your bank account or set up a service request, all at the residential portal of the Jefferson/Axiom home pages. Look to the lower right hand corner for "resident portal," or click here.

  1. How does one contact you?
    Thanks!

  2. One doesn't, other than in the manner in which you just did!
You may email me. If you prefer that your email not be posted just say so and I happily honor your request.

  3. The online portal will charge you a $40 upcharge. I usually recommend that if you don't want to cut hard checks that you go thru your bank. You can have them automatically deposit a rent check from your account to ours each month. Many tenants do this and love it! Just be sure to reiterate to your bank that a large amount of money will always be going to the Jefferson or Axiom for your rent, this will help prevent an NSF fine.

    Thanks

  5. The initial charge of $40 to pay your rent is absurd. What kind of lousy system is that? You have to buy into it to pay your rent???
I like your suggestion of setting up free electronic payment through your bank. Most banks these days offer this service and is relatively safe and secure. For that matter, what do we know about the apartments online bill pay service? How secure is their server? Probably not more than a banks.
    Thanks for the info.

  6. Yes, the fee is a bit ridiculous.

We looked at another luxury apartment that actually offered a discount for paying online, as it was less administrative work for them.

  7. How hard is it for them to deduct rent (Axiom)? We have written rent checks that take THREE WEEKS to clear. Seriously? They now supposedly have an ACH system to directly debit your account if you write a check. I sent my check down several days ago, and it still hasn't cleared. What's the point of investing in that system if they still don't process the rent checks?

And of course, you can't pay online without paying a $40 fee. You think they'd WANT you to pay online so they can get their money immediately. They should give you a discount for paying online, not charge a fee.
