Trash Room Troubles

This was left in the trash room on one of the floors. Someone either not aware of the recycle policy or too lazy to adhere to it, just dumped their recycling inside the door of the trash room causing someone to almost trip over it as they emptied their trash. Plop! Right inside the door.

If this is you, please have some respect for your neighbors. Take your recycling down to the recycle area until management comes to their senses and begins floor by floor pick up of this material. At very least walk into the room and put it out of the walkway.

  1. This happens on my floor quite frequently as well. Things just thrown in there.

  2. I think it must be a combination of tenants, new or otherwise, that don't know the policy--although they must have been told when they moved in (or were they?--and those who just don't care.

It makes it hard to make a case for recycling pickup on each floor when some people aren't responsible with the trash policy as it currently stands. Sheesh!

  3. On my floor, it's not even recycling that isn't being thrown down the chute, people are just piling up trash in there. One would think (although it wouldn't be a pleasant job) that someone in management/facilities could go through this trash and find information pointing back to the offenders so they could be delivered a personal warning.

  4. I doubt that it would take more than a couple minutes snake. Sounds like an interesting idea.
