Street Safety Meeting. A notice from the office

Street Safety Meeting to be held.
On Thursday June 17th, Courtesy Officer Tim is going to be holding a Safety Meeting open to all residents 18 and older. It's street smarts, and what to do in case of an emergency. We anticipate it going about an hour. Depending on turnout, this might become a more regular event.

This isn't a bad idea. Especially if you come from out of town. Don't be lulled into thinking this area is totally safe here. Getting mugged in NOT a right of passage in DC and I don't recommend it.

  3. This will actually be postponed until next week! Tim has had an obligation tonight that popped up but we will let you know as soon as we know a date and time!

  5. Speaking of safety, a big thank you to management for providing security on the roof for the 4th of July evening, and keeping the rowdy crowds out!

  6. That was great - now if only they could somehow police the one guest per resident at the pool rule, we'd be getting somewhere. Saturday there was a group of no less than 6 people standing outside the building with towels and poolside accoutrement, waiting to be let in by a resident. It's possible that they knew 6 residents individually, but that's highly unlikely.
