Whoops!

Seriously. I think if my dog took a massive whizz in the elevator like this one, I would come back with some paper towel and clean it up. Wouldn't you?

  1. Just because you are paying pet fees does not mean you have the right not to clean up after your pets. I have actually see poop in the hallways on two instances! Clean it all up people!

  2. It's easier to just leave it for someone else to clean up.
It shows the level of disrespect people can have for one another. Just because someone works in maintenance doesn't mean they're your maid. :p

  3. Yep. I've seen the poop too...and I have the evidence.
I understand that these things happen. It's really not the dogs fault. The person that walks away from this sort of thing thinks they're getting away with something, but dude/dudette this is your home. It's like you have no respect for where you live. There's a difference between luxury apartment and luxury barn. LOL!!! There are totally people in this building who don't know how to live in a nice environment.

  4. Can we agree to stop calling this building a "luxury" building? Every single apartment building/complex in the metro area is advertised this way, so you're going to continue to be disappointed wherever you live if you actually expect "luxury" service. A real luxury building costs far more than what we're paying here, and they're few and far between.

  5. I'm not sure I completely agree with you Snake.
JPI has spent a lot of effort and money to sell this concept. There's a website, lots of printed material, a big banner hanging on the building, etc., etc.

We've become so accustomed in this society to allow people to say one thing and deliver another. It boggles the mind. So it's ok to use the term "luxury" to justify a certain price point, but we shouldn't expect what what the lip service promises?

Where might this building cost a lot more? New York? Downtown? Perhaps, but how much are people expected to pay for box inside a bigger box? When the neighborhood picks up and starts to look like the banner from halfstreet.com then you will see a large boost in prices.

I suppose I'll stop calling it a luxury building when JPI does.

  6. I'm just saying "luxury" is a ubiquitous term when it comes to housing. It normally means "built later than 2000" or "renovated recently". Then again, I'm not sure exactly what you expect from a luxury apartment building. They all have roughly the same level of service and amenities as the next one.

  7. Luxury or not, letting your dog use the common areas as a toilet should be unacceptable in any shared space.

  8. This is very disrespectful, we couldn't agree more!-Management

  9. Well of course having pet owners fail to clean up after their dogs is unacceptable... I will be reporting anyone I see do this to management. However, there's only so much you can do unless there is video surveillance to catch these creeps in the act.
